Questions about official Ottawa County criminal records belong with the government office that created or maintains the file. This private site cannot retrieve, change, or certify a record. Use the routes below to reach Sheriff's Records Management, the correct court clerk, Michigan State Police CJIC, or the police agency that wrote an incident report.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Send each Ottawa County records request to the office that holds that type of file:

  • Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
  • Criminal records and personal record review: contact Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact Ottawa County Sheriff's Records Management
  • State repository searches: use Michigan State Police ICHAT or the official fingerprint review process
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Set-aside filings: use the court that heard the case and follow the Michigan process

The official 20th Circuit criminal file is held by Circuit Court Records, Grand Haven Courthouse, 414 Washington Avenue, Room 320, Grand Haven, MI 49417. The counter is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call (616) 846-8315 or email CircuitCourtRecords@miOttawa.org.
